Youth. Envy. Healing. Growth.

Movement 1: "Youth"
"Hazy Shade of Winter"
Based on the remake by The Bangles

The music is youthful and joyous, in other words "green." Think back to when you were a beginner at something and everything was new and unexplored.

Movement 2: "Envy"
"Tarkus: Eruption" Emerson, Lake, & Palmer
This piece explores the darker side of green: jealousy, envy, and even anger. Witness green compete with other colors for attention. You know what they say about grass...

Movement 3: "Healing"
"Unchained Melody" Based on Cyndi Lauper's remake
As with all low points in life, we eventually come to an understanding and then rebound. The ancient Celts believed that the color green was a healing color. In this movement we explore those emotions and come to redemption through new found understanding and wisdom.

Movement 4: "Growth"
"The La La Song" Zebra
For the closing movement we celebrate the experiences of the first 3 movements with our final shade of green: growth. We'll return to the youthful exuberance of the 1st movement, only this time we'll be wiser, more mature, and ready for life's next challenges.
