Gulf Coast Sound (Winter) Drum & Bugle Corps

The Corps has decided to make the trek to Drum Corps Associates 2002 Championships this Labor Day weekend in Scranton, PA. We'll be competing in the Mini-Corps Competition as well as the Individual & Ensemble competitions.

Fortunately the show in it's current state is too short. So, we are getting to add a new chart and new drill. Brass Machine, arranged by Eric Brooks, will be are 2nd piece and closer. Look for some awesome playing by the horn line as well as some killer solos.

We will also have new uniforms. The over-alls are no more!! Never again will the Corps be forced to dress as 'farmer Bill'. We're planning to use nice polo shirts with the Corps logo embroidered on the chest and blue jeans this year. At some point in the future we'll get real uniforms.

The Corps and staff are really looking forward to September. We're out to prove that good things DO come in small packages!!
