Gulf Coast Sound (Winter) Drum & Bugle Corps

We had a great day of rehearsal at UH. The less-than-perfect performance the night before forced everyone to focus on what we were doing. We came of the field (court) and KNEW it had been and awesome show. The crowd screamed and clapped even as we left the gym! There were a of lot hugs and hand shakes in the hallway after the show that night.

Eric Brooks had been working on new breathing techniques with the hornline to give us a more full, rich sound and it is starting to pay off. There was a noticeable difference in the decibel level!!

This was our first real competition, meaning we were competing against another unit and not just ourselves.
