July 4th, 2004
Our debut performance in the new uniforms.
The "fly's" we're wearing are made from the Bluebonnet
Tartan, the official tartan of the State of Texas. They're pinned
on with the GCS Star, an item only available to members. The
uniforms are not quite finished yet, we have a few alterations
that will be made after the DCA South Tour.
We started the morning off with a patriotic concert at Rittenhouse
Baptist Church where the Corps is based. The church allows the
Corps to use their facilities for free and the concert was our
way of saying thanks.
After the service we went out back to the rehearsal field and
played the show in uniform for the first time.
