Ok, it's official.

We are on the schedule to perform at the Houston Aeros Hockey game Saturday April 10, 2010.

Game time is 7:35 P.M.

I talked with Laura who is the Marketing Director for the Aeros. She said that she is looking forward to seeing us perform and that she will help us book future dates to perform. This could be a regular gig. This would be a great way to advertise GCS to the general public. I am waiting to receive information from her regarding details for that night that we perform. I will post it as soon as I receive it.

Not sure yet. I just got all the paperwork. I have to fill it out and send it back. She said she would get with me on all of it.As soon as I talk to her to confirm things, I'll post it here.

What will kids be doing? What age range are they?

They are fourth and fifth graders, they are going to sing a song called "I like to sing (scat)" its a jazz partner song. Very cute and they like it.

OK EVERYONE, HERE'S AN UPDATE:

I just received an email back from Gwen who is the Marketing Director at the Galleria. She has extended us an invitation to perform for as many dates as we would like. I told her that we were committing to the following dates, so go ahead a put these on your calendar:

Saturday November 28, 2009
Saturday December 5, 2009
Saturday December 12, 2009

I will post details about what time we need to be there and all that as soon as I hear back from her.

Is November 28th a smart date to commit to especially with that being the Saturday after Thanksgiving? Jenny and I may be out of town that weekend visiting family in Oklahoma and I am sure there may be others who plan on traveling that holiday weekend.
