Details have been worked out for class enrollment. The class will begin on Friday, January 20 and go from 7:00pm until 10:00pm. It will occur every Friday at LSC-North Harris until mid-May. Dr. Brack May will be teaching the course, with added percussion instruction by Stephen Araujo.

The goals of the class are to produce an end-of-semester stage production featuring the entire ensemble, with additional portions featuring percussion and brass groups. This class will be a prelude to minicorps preparations during the summer.

The class will need to enroll 18 members at $84 per member payable to GCS by the first class. Commitments need to be made and communicated to me or Dr. May BEFORE that date.

Anyone and everyone is encouraged to enroll.

In, however, I have counseling classes that meet the first two weekends (Friday night and Saturday morning) of every month just so you know.

As of noon today (Thursday, Jan. 19) there are enough commitments and prospective students for us to convene the first class tomorrow at 7pm, LSC-North Harris Fine Arts Bldg.

Be prepared to pay class fees ($84 payable to GCS).

We will decide at that time if we have enough students to run the class for the entire semester.

Great first night back from the holidays everybody!!! Let's continue to build the membership...it's a lot more fun when there are A LOT of people involved!

Question...does anybody have photos from our first stage performance on October 31??? Particularly, I'm looking for pics of the marching portion. Working on ideas for new recruiting fliers and posters, and I need shots of what we currently look like, rather than using stock photos from our field shows of 3 years ago.

Yes, and every Friday through mid-May (except maybe for spring break).
