Posted: Sun Jul 03, 2011 10:51 amIt's gonna be another HOT 4th of July. 98+ degrees by mid-day. Even though we're meeting at 9am and stepping off at 10am, by the end of the parade it will be close to 90 degrees. Please take all precautions and be prepared.
Even though we'll have plenty of water on hand, bring your own cooler with other non-carbonated beverages, like Gatorade or Powerade.
Start hydrating today.
Eat something before the parade.
Wear hats, sunglasses, sunscreen. My favorite is a cold wet towel to drape on the back of my neck.

Dress is GCS Member shirt and khaki shorts.
We'll try to get GCS Member shirts for the new folks. Wear a white t-shirt just in case.
