GCS 2011 - Show Music Sneak Peak

Postby Jason Rose » Mon Mar 07, 2011 2:51 pm

This post was requested by Corey.

Here's the full show. It's not finished yet and we're still missing most of the Battery and Front Ensemble music. But, this will give you an idea of where we're headed.

Brass will definitely have the finished parts at the next Camp.

WOW!!!

If this doesn't get you pumped about the GCS reincarnation, nothing will.

Music arranged by Jason Rose and Danny Rodriguez.

Spots still available, and remember, we're dues-free for the year, too!

Sounds great!

Is there original material, or is this all arranged from other sources?

The original music comes from differnent composers (see below). The arrangments are original to GCS (GCS always uses original arrangements), so there is unique material scattered throughout the show. The finale was written from scratch.

Keep in mind that no one has played this stuff in Drum Corps except us. Running of the Bulls only came out last year! Doesn't get much fresher than that.

I have updated the MP3 with the final version of Bulls.

As soon as I get the completed percussion parts from Joel at IPT, I'll post the MP3. I'm getting anxious to hear the finished product.

I'll be happy to. What's your address?

You can also download it directly from the Forum. Look just below the audio player, there's a "Download" link.
