Next Saturday July 24th

Postby Mark Todd » Sat Jul 17, 2010 7:32 pm

So we were looking around to see about hosting a little get together next weekend to watch the San Antonio show on the DCI network but apparently they are not broadcasting the San Antonio show for some reason. They are broadcasting the 2 Houston shows however. Not sure how long it takes to get those up on the archive to be able to watch but if they are up on Saturday night we can watch those or we can go thru our collection of DCI and DCA vids if the broadcast is not available yet. The plan was to grill burgers and brats and I think Jenny might make some artichoke dip or something so if you want to bring along chips and dips, etc that would work great. We have some non alcoholic drinks available...Coke, Dr Pepper, etc and I have a small selection of various summer ales and pilsners as well as 10 gallons of home brewed ESB but if you have something specific that you would like to consume feel free to bring it with you.

Address is:
10315 Ince Lane
Houston, TX 77040

I would like to get a head count so I make sure to get enough meat for the grill so please let me know if you are planning to come over. I am off on Thursday and Friday so I will probably hit the store then to get all of the supplies I need. So I would like to know by then if possible.

Thanks`

Thanks for the invite Mark. If I'm in town I'll come by. I should know by Friday what my plans are.

Probably start cooking around 5:30 or so. Still trying to see how quickly they get the broadcast shows up on the archives to be able to watch them.

I probably won't be out of the reception til about 10, so I'm gonna have to regrettably pass. Sorry.

Not going to make it this time. Revolution is having a family day in Kerrville that I'm gonna go record. Or try to at least, if I can find Kerrville on a map. According to google it's 50 miles or more closer than Houston from me. But like Houston, not much in the I-## type roadways between here and there.

Kerrville shouldnt be too far from you really. Its northwest of San Antonio on I-10. You can probably cut over on 290 or something out of Austin and get there.

Oh and by the way Friday night's performances are up already so we should be able to watch Thursday and Friday nights' shows this evening. Going to hook up Jenny's computer a little later for a test drive to make sure its all good.
