Schilke 51D, Large Shank

Anybody have one I could borrow? I have been using an LM-35, but have trouble higher than F# (treble) on Mike's Kanstul euph.

I'm trying out a Bb concert euph that came with a Bach 6 1/2 AL. I don't want to have to switch between both mouthpieces and thought a Schilke 51D for both might do the trick.

Suggestions?

Small, medium or large shank?

Large shank fits both the Kanstul euph and the Yamaha concert euph

I have one you can borrow. I'm planning on making my way down yonder soon anyway to drop off the TXDCP dvds.

Which Yammy concert Euph? I played an old YEP321S back in college. A nice intermediate non-compensating Euph. But those were tenor shank back in the day. I have a tenor shank one too, but I actually marched Jr. Corps with it, and it shows it's age. The large shank just looks old (black tarnish), but I really haven't played on that one much. It's mainly my just in case piece. Or more specifically, this DEG just can't be played with any other piece piece.

6 1/2 AL is a trombone piece. Too V cup for most things Euph. I also have an LM-20, smaller than the LM-35.

They loaned me a YEP 642. Very nice.

It has a large shank receiver because it fits my LM-35 mouthpiece. I went ahead and ordered a Schilke 51D.
