Jared sent me a text and said THE WEATHER IS REALLY BAD.

Things are calm now in the Alvin area from the reports I am getting.
A LOT of rain which we needed.

I got a lot of wind, dark clouds, lightning and a little drizzle...kinda disappointing for all the buildup the storm had coming through. About all it did was clean off all the pine needles and leaves from my front stairs!

We got one HELLUVA cool light show for about 2 hours. The wind was pretty gnarly, too. A 6 foot piece from the top of a dead tree landed in my back yard.

Not much rain last night though. Just a slight drizzle for about 10 minutes. This morning we got a slightly heavier drizzle. Just enough to water the grass a bit.

We didn't get ANYTHING down south at the house.

How did you Northern dwellers do with the High winds and such?
